Safety or not?

Can I consider Stevens Institute of Technology as a safety college?
My ACT score’s 31.
Not sure about gpa( school works on percentage system) but my percentages are good enough(75-80).

Solid match Safety is 100 percent. Youre probably close. But I would think that it is likely. Not guarantee

I’m not familiar with the percentage system. Can you explain? What GPA does that correlate to?

How do your grades compare with other students from your high school?

How do your grades compare with other students from your country?

If you were from the USA, and if your average grades are between 75% and 80%, then I would not think that Stevens was a safety at all, nor even likely. However, other countries have different grade scales. I would expect that Stevens would compare your grades with other students from your country in evaluating your application.

What country are you from?
If the Us then Stevens is a big reach.
If Canada, then Stevens is a match, not a safety.
Also, they’ve got relatively low financial aid, can your family afford to pay?

Thanks for the inputs.
I’m an Indian.
My percentage, when compared to that of my school mates is pretty high. I come in the top 15% in my grade. But compared to other schools in my country my percentage is low. I guess that’s because of my school. It’s very competitive and the exam papers are generally hard.

How does it relate to national board results? Does your school have grade deflation (ie., A student getting a 75 at your school is likely to get 80 or even 85 on board exams?)

Our school has one of the best national board results. What I’ve heard from my seniors is that a person scoring around 70-75 will surely get around 90s.

Adding on to my initial post,
I got a 10.0/10.0 cgpa in my 10th grade.
