So I feel like I read somewhere that colleges like to see SAT subject tests that are different from your AP tests. Is this the case? I am taking AP US and AP Lang and I was thinking of taking the SAT subject tests in US History and Literature.

No truth to it. Colleges do not even require AP scores for admission. High ranks require two (three at Harvard and Georgetown) SAT II scores and they generally don’t care whether there is or is not an AP score in the same or different subject.
