What do you guys think about Santa Clara University's Engineering program? Is it actually nationally ranked like some schools? I'm going here because UC Davis didn't give me money, so what do you guys think?

Anybody have any advice?

Yes, Santa Clara University has a pretty good engineering program.
According to the US news magazine, SCU's engineering program is ranked #29the best in the nation.
For the comparison, here is the ranks of some universities in California (whose highest degree is a bachelor's or master's) for 2007:
1. Harvey Mudd College (1st in the nation)
1. Cal Poly-SLO (6th)
2. San Jose State University (12th)
3. Cal Poly-Pomona (16th)
4. Loyola Marymount University (20th)
5. Santa Clara University (29th)

Enjoy =)

ps: SJSU is not a bad choice, considering it is 12th the best in the nation and the tuition is very affordable.

@ryan_kidz,

Your above ranking only shows State-level University(whose highest degree is a bachelor's or master's). It doesn't count all the top national-level universities (top public and private), those who offer PhD degrees. So SJSU is not a "TRUE" 12th the best in the nation. :)
