I've been admitted in 2010 fall Ms program. My major is computer engineering. I want to find a job after graduation, I want to know your suggestions about these two universities.
I found that santa clara u is easier for the graduates to find a job, is that true?

Yes. You can’t beat the location of silicon valley, especially for computer engineering.

in general, academically, SCU is head and shoulders ahead of ASU, in my opinion. no comparison. in addition, HUGE state school versus small/mid size private school, so very different animals.

Depends.

If you are admitted to Barrett Honors College at ASU, you will be treated like royalty and will get the advantages of smaller classes, personal attention, etc. at a fraction of the cost of SCU. ASU has strong connections with many tech companies here in the “Silicon Desert,” plus many of the CA firms recruit there too, so there are plenty of job opportunities after graduation (assuming the Great Recession is over by then!). So ASU would be the best choice in this scenario.

If SCU is giving you substantial grant/scholarship money to attend (or if your family has the needed financial resources) and you would NOT be in Barrett if you go to ASU, then I would definitely choose SCU.
