Santa Clara University vs. UC Davis

Hey!

I'm choosing between Santa Clara and UC Davis. If willing, please tell me which school is better in the following areas...

academics (specifically English & Psychology)

opportunities (research and employment/internship)

housing

food

location

quality of courses & professors

religious life (active protestant Christian group/bible study on campus)

dance program (dance classes/dance team)
and any other noticeable features worthy of comparison

Thank you, in advance, for answering this post.

I’m pretty sure Santa clara

Santa Clara offers a VERY different environment than Davis. It is much smaller, Jesuit and is centered around an historic mission in the Silicon Valley. Davis is a big, public school in a fantastic college town in the the Sacramento Valley. Degrees carry similar credibility in most subjects. The cost, for most, is significantly lower @ Davis. In the abstract, few would argue Santa Clara is $30k per year better than Davis. If you have a package from SC that brings the costs closer, you could sway me either way.
Congrats and good luck!

We know so many kids went to either, they all have great experiences. But Santa Clara is not 30K worth more than Davis. It all depends your financial consideration and your preferences of large vs small.
