I just got waitlisted from Sarah Lawrence. I aas very shocked because it was one of my target schools considering its acceptance rate (56%) This makes me doubt my chances for my reaches and I was very confident in my application to sarah lawrence. What can i do to get off the waitlist and what are my chances in general?

Acceptance rate doesn’t equal safety. If you don’t show interest, a schools such as Sarah Lawrence isn’t likely to accept you.
If you truly want to attend, make it clear in a letter of continued interest to the regional AO at Sarah Lawrence. SL is looking for a particular type of student who they believe will succeed and embrace their uncommon teaching style.
