Sarah Palin - Stupidest VP decision ever?

as i listen to her speak, my ears are bleeding.

I think she is doing great, I though Biden would destroy her, but its been quite the opposite.

I don't think it is valid comparison between Obama and Palin's competence. To become a vice presidential candidate, the only criterion is to be picked by the presidential candidate. To become a presidential candidate of choice for one of the two major political parties requires quite a rite of passage, a true gauntlet. Obama has gone through this.

Great point.

Obama had to convince millions of Americans that he was suited for the job. Sarah Palin only had to convince Karl Rove.

How anyone could defend the Palin pick after the Couric interview is beyond me.

Because there are some people in the country that are willing to give enormous enormous enormous enormous enormous benefits of the doubt, as long as you are white and conservative.

Umm, yep, because running for office and winning an office makes you Presidential.

Obama ain't done jack. Palin has.

Laughable. The president of my university has more responsibilities and presides over a larger population than Sarah Palin ever has.

while she might be the stupidest candidat it might not be as stupid of a choice for mccain due to the controversy its causing. publicity is publicity.

I wonder about the IQ of the people who think Palin won, much less kept it close.

All she did was ignore the questions being asked and simply rehash her stump speech - tho this time, since she didn't have the aid of a teleprompter, her words/phrases got jumbled at times (where she would repeat the same point over and over again w/in the same window).

I thought nothing could be worse than hearing Bush II speak, but Palin may very well be worse.

Heck, she got confused at a no. of questions and contradicted her self numerous times.

It's scary to think that there is no discernable difference btwn Tina Fey's satirical portrayal and the "real thing".
