maybe not for you but the consensus is that it was one of the hardest ever administered

wait first off that temperature question was 3 pretty much for sure because u get like

3.2300/320=1/100300=3 (i think thats how it goes…)

Also i hope the curve goes to a 77. It might not have been that difficult compared to lets say a barrons test butt thats teh reason barrons gives hella generous 75 ish curves. So I don’t think a 77 is likely but i feel maybe a 78 may be our curve especially because of the first 20 queestions all being pretty new to most people.

Also does anyone know if raw scores round up like 77.5 –> 78 ?

yest to your first question
and lol 3 wasnt even a choice…
the choices were decimal points
o.3 or 0.48

Descriptive chemistry is pretty difficult, and there were 6 questions on our exam about it. I never specifically studied it, but I was luckily able to answer most of the questions. (I knew the fertilizer one because of my bio class, I knew the CF2Cl2 one because my MUN club spent some time on the Kyoto protocol, etc.) For that reason, I think the test was slightly more difficult, and it went into detail about things it doesn’t normally test. For instance, I’m fairly certain that quanta and half-lives are almost never on the test.

I didn’t think the exam was particularly difficult, myself. However, it did require knowledge of a vast amount of topics, and in a relatively great amount of depth, and for that reason, it was easier to make mistakes on it. Generally, CC represents a part of the population that does well on standardized tests and in school, and if most members had a tough time with the test, it’s safe to say that others did too. The curve will definitely be easier than the 2005 one was.

wait i think im talking of a diff question it hought it sounded weird. Im talking about the one where temperature is raised from 27celsius to 47 celsius… oops sorry bout that. Does anyone have the full question for the .48 one im still trying to remember

the 27 celsius and 47 celsuis one is the one im talking about
3 wasnt a choice the choices wre
1
0.2
0.5
0.3
and0.48
maybe u misread or something

do u remember what the atm’s were cuz im like 90% sure 3 was an answer or maybe i put .3

No, trust me, 3 was a choice.

And if you look at the choices you provided, none of them would work if the temperature went from 300 K to 320 K.

i thought so oh well…

The thing is, all of us seem to remember the temperature going from 27 C to 47 C, which means the ATM’s decreasing to 3 would be incorrect.

The answer was 3.00atm IIRC. It went from 3.2 to 3.0 if you use the P1/T1 = P2/T2 law. I think the temp went from 47 to 27. So the pressure would decrease.

Hmm I dunno. I remember the temperature going up.

it was 47 to 27
do you remember the first limiting reagansts question
where teh answer was 1 mole of Co and 0.5 mole of o2 or somethning like that

I remember that, not too clear on the answer (was the 1st exam of 3). I’m pretty sure 0.5 mol of O2 was left and 1 mol of the product was formed. (Might’ve been CO)

ya thats wat i put so that means
from the whole exam
12 wrong 2 omited for raw score of 71\85
than minuse 3 for raw score 68:( **** MY LIFE
I’m retaking in June but would like to get a 750 on this so that I can have some backup incase anything goes wrong the June exam

freezing pt depression= -2.7?

phew… also darksoulz i got the same thing for that limiting reagent question

there was no freeaing pt depression questions…

yes there was
