can a sphere have symmetry in a point, a line and a plane?
@Chris817 Wait, are you sure?
I remember the question like this. The ladder of length 20 metres makes an angle x (don’t know know how to put the theta symbol) with the ground, and what is the maximum distance possible between the ladder and the building. Also is the given that the angle is between 70 & 80 degrees.
Use cos to find the minimum and maximum length of the distance (between 3.72 and 6.84 metres). Only one option is possible (6.5, I think).
I remember a question about temperature of coffee or something. I got 119 or something.
About the Roman Numeral question, I did a rough sketch of the graph during the exam. And I marked I & II. It changed directions more than once, so it’s definitely a function with an odd power.
The graph didn't change directions in the third quadrant, so I didn't think there was a negative zero.
Also, any idea about the polar co-ordinates question? I got (2,-20 or something.
Perms/combs one was 325. I asked my math teacher as well and he said my answer is right so I’m pretty sure that’s the answer. You do 25C2 + 25
^ Which question is that? I don’t remember it in M2
@SeaofFrost are you an international test taker? because the one in u.s usually uses feet instaed of meters. the sat usually has answer choices in order to least to greatest and 19.7 was A, meaning that there could be no number less than that
@Jordie12345 what was the question exactly? was it the one with offices, and intercoms or something like that?
@SeaofFrost I also got the same answer fro the roman numeral question. what was the polar coordinates one?
@Jordie12345 What I did was this:
There are 26 total entities, of which two can be connected at a time. So, 26C2, which also gives 325.
i got the polar coordinates as (-2, 2) or something.
I’m an international test taker, but the question probably had everything in feet. My bad, I’m used to the SI system.
Anyway, I’m positive that I got the answer as 6 point something. Maybe that was a different question for international test takers? @curlypie99 I read in the previous pages that you mentioned that even you got the answer as 6 point something as your answer. Are you also an international test taker?.
@SeaofFrost I also got 2,-2 for the polar coordinates
if @curlypie99 was an international test taker , then the question must be different. because I remember for sure that A)19.7 was correct I also remember that the other answere choices increased to 20.4, then 21.1 then etc…
Ya it was 25 intercoms, 1 office. They are all connected
@SeaofFrost I got an answer as 6.___ for the ladder question also where the angle was between 70 and 80 degrees. I might be wrong, but I think there may have been 2 ladder questions. I also believe there were 2 roman numeral questions, for which my answers were I and III for one and II for the other.
When do we get test scores? And what did everybody get for the equilateral triangle with coordinate question?
Results are out on Dec 22, exactly a week from next tuesday. & I think I used trig for that question
Do results come out at the same time as the normal SAT?
Yes
What time do results come out? Is it at midnight or in the morning?
In exactly 31 minutes
800!
800!
780 Hope it doesn’t ruin or damage my chances of a top engineering uni.
