**SAT 2 Math II Discussion Thread December 2015**

ladder was 6.____

@bookobsessor i skipped 7 too. if you got everything else right youre probably gonna get either a 790 or 800

so now i know i skipped 7 and missed at least one… that puts my raw score at 42 if i dont miss any others (and im sure i missed one more) any chance thatll be an 800?

zero. but it still will be a good score. Don’t sweat it

@curlypie99 Thanks lol. I’m praying that I got everything I answered right.

What’d you get for the 7^x or b^x-1 question?

@deeeznuts What was that question asking?

Holy cow that was SO much easier than Barron’s!

I was freaking out before the test because I didn’t know conics or matrices, but that didn’t come up at all! As far as I know… I had 2 questions I was unable to answer, but guessed on them. One was the 25 classrooms and one office question. Another was the two cars are driving away at 30 mph and 45 mph at a 120 degree angle or something. I wasn’t sure how to answer these questions quickly.

I prep’d so much for conics, polar coordinates, matrices, etc. and of course those didn’t come up…

You were supposed to use law of cosines for the cars question.

I actually thought this was harder than Barron’s tests.

@curlypie99 do you remember the answer to the cars or at least the values for their speed and the angle?

35 east and 40 at 30 degrees north west for 2 hours

I chose pi/2 for period of the absolute value of sinx … I was so confident, and on the drive home, I realized what I’d done, but oh well! I omitted one, too, so I hope the curve is generous!

@curlypie99 I agree that this test was harder than Barron’s

@russiaguy i dont remember the answer i just remember you had to double each side from the mph they gave since they said 2 hours, and the angle was 120 and you had to use law of cosines

what was that question with x^(2)+4x+4?

@Gradient I put a=-2

did you guys get an answer for the roman numeral one?
was it just ii?

i got -2 for that question too

i got i, ii, and iii for the roman numeral one

Wait how is it iii too? Couldn’t all of the zeroes have been positive?

i… have no idea. someone please tell me it was i, ii, and iii just to boost my morale
