@leonardo2020 I think 770 is fine, it’s not going to make or break your application at a place like Harvard that is going to examine your entire application. Can you honestly imagine an admissions counselor saying “Wow, we would’ve let him into Harvard if it weren’t for that 770!!”
@streetking18 lol yeah you’re right. And probably if I don’t submit any SAT 2s it would be even worse and they’d wonder if I had 500s or something
is a 700 ok for UPenn wharton? I know its on the lower end.
800!!! Good job everyone!!! Praise the Lord!
Lol, 800 in maths and chem and 790 in bio in first and last go…
@Wilsonhsu1115 nice job same here, well the last part aha. I got 780 on both Math II and Bio and I’m definitely not retaking either
@streetking18 yeah, well Ive already applied ED1 to NYUAD, so all I can do is just send the results and wait lol
790…
For the person who got the 770–how many skip and wrong did u have? Same with 690…I’m scared to check my scores. I skipped a lot and got some wrong
@lolokcollege I have no idea. I usually only skip 1-2 and rather bubble an answer I’m not quite sure of than to leave it blank.
Just check them!!
- Surprised since I omitted 2 and missed at least 3.
“Sorry for the inconvenience but we encountered an error within our system. Please try again later.”
If I skipped 7/8 and got like 3 wrong, what would my score be? o.O
@lolokcollege I think around 740?
If I want to major in math and got 780, do you think it looks bad?
770! Congrats to everyone!
@misschoding not at all!! you only missed 1-2 more than somebody who got a 800
btw @ everyone:
I’ve done a lot of research today and it seems like Ivies see everything that’s 700+ as good, and everything that’s 750+ as exceptional.
Princeton was the only Ivy that once published the SAT 2 scores; its admitted students scored between 720 - 780 on average.
So I guess we should all stop obsessing about a 720,740,760 etc. because these are great scores and not “bad” only because it seems like everybody on CC got constant 800s!
@leonardo2020 Thats what I was thinking too, and Im happy with my 780 but someone told me that I should take it again and strive for the 800… lol But yeah, I agree with you!
@misschoding If I were you I wouldn’t! A 20 point increase isn’t worth your time and money. These 20 points won’t be the deciding factor if you’re gonna be admitted or rejected
