I took this test in November (a little later than this forum), but still have some good study methods to lend and hopefully help others achieve a high score in the future. You could probably get by in the Math 2 test having taken up to Algebra 2, but I strongly recommend waiting until you have Pre-Calculus or Trig under your belt as well, as some of the questions were considerably easier with the knowledge I acquired in Pre-Calc. I didn’t think Barron’s was the best resource in terms of the practice tests, because they’re flat-out too difficult and will give the wrong impression as to how difficult the actual test is. I recommend taking the past College Board exams, which can be found in both their subject test books, to see where your weaknesses lie. As for reviewing content, Barron’s is a good resource and pretty comprehensive in covering all concepts that may show up on the test. Other than that, just know your strengths and don’t sell yourself short when it comes to what you know. I did that, and regret studying more than I really had to. Good luck in the future!
Question: Do UC’s require all SAT 2 subject test to be sent. I know that UC’s require all SAt 1 and ACT scores to be sent (they do not recommend Score Choice) but am not sure about the SAT II’s.
In other words, if I took Sat Bio and got 700 and Sat Chem and got 750 can I just choose to send the Sat Chem score?
THANKS!
