**SAT 2 Physics Discussion Thread Oct 2016**

Hey guys. I took physics test now…thought it is a little hard…I ran short on time, only answered 61 questions and omitted 14 questions(still got through the test). I am not so confident that I got all 61 answers correct…
How do you guys feel about this test? Is it harder than general or easier?
Do I still stand a chance of getting an 800?
Life…

@seyll00 Less KE than PE

my last question wasnt that…

does anyone know the other one?

Shouldn’t it be all PE, since it’s talking about the first instant the diver jumps out the plane, when he’s not spent any time falling down yet? @gmanhax @seyll00

@skstanford But the plane is moving at 50m/s so he is moving too when he jumps out, no? I don’t think it said only in the vertical direction

I thought the test was pretty hard because I’m very weak on waves and optics, which I felt made up a sizable amount of the test.

I left 9 blank, but I doubt I got everything I answered correct, so we’ll see.

oh wait…i said mostly PE and less KE

@skstanford @gmanhax I don’t remember the exact option… but I chose the option with both PE and KE because he’ll have a velocity because of the airplane’s motion. I’m pretty sure it mentioned an instant after he jumped… so I thought we should consider KE too… idk… :confused:

@thetennisking oh yeah!! It was that one!! I think that’s B. That’s what I marked too…

@skstanford All PE would imply that PE is max. but PE can only be max when the diver is in the plane. Right when he jumps out, his height above ground decreases, which is less than max PE, but still more than KE. So it should me more PE than KE

I think @gmanhax is correct.

it says that diver has max PE before jumping, and as soon as he jumps, he gains KE

I can remember what choice that was…

cant*

A or B…

It was definitely B.

There was one at the very beginning that threw me off-- something like “which statement helps to explain that if volume changes, temperature can change” or something like that… anyone know?

@gmanhax Was it the one in the comprehension? That one was tough…

@gmanhax I put the one with work on the system increases the internal energy or something like that for that question.
