@ThugLife13 kinetic should be the subtracted one

@thetennisking Yes. I wrote the same thing. :slight_smile:

cool

but…i can make n argument for it being b too

a+b = Et and a = potential
kinetic = Et - potential so Et - a = b

idk.

i know i made two very stupid mistakes on that test

that could be another one

Any idea what the curve would be like? I really hope its 59 for an 800

same @ThugLife13

Curve’s more like 65 for a 800, I’d say. Ah well

Nah, this test was pretty hard. I think maybe 61 or 62. I thought it was only a little easier than the College Board practice test and the curve for that was a 59/75=800.

@JuicyMango the test in the official book?

@thetennisking

Yeah. The one from the official book was pretty easy and its curve was a 59/75 raw score for an 800. This test definitely seemed harder than that one.

I agree

If I omitted 6 and know I missed at least 4-5 more, how many more can I miss for a 780+?

@thetennisking Yup, the one from the CB official book.

I actually meant to say that this test was a little bit HARDER than the CB practice test. But of course that’s my opinion, I’m sure some people thought this test to be easier.

I predict the score for an 800 to be from 60-63. For the sake of all of us, let’s hope the curve is closer to the lower end of that range :p.

i thought the CB test was harder as well. lol

Is it just me or was there insanely little Mechanics in this test? Caught me off guard a bit when I took it… I practiced with the Barrons book and PR and usually get 720+… but I thought this test was a lot harder than what I’ve been practicing…

was the answer to the question about time taken for heat increase 2hrs. we were given rate of heat supplied per hr and heat required to raise temp by 1degree
