I have a strong GPA and ACT and other strong factors on my application. My SAT 2 scores weren’t great though (I was sick on test day). Since they are only recommended and not required, do I submit them or not? They are not up to par with the rest of my application they won’t add anything and could hurt me but I’m not sure how the recommended vs required language really applies.
How weak? I’m kind of in a similar boat, just without the sick excuse. I have 730s in lit and chem, and I’m wondering if they’re even worth reporting.
Got in with 750 math 2 and 730 history. That was weakest part of application though.
Princeton indicates they are not required so it is your call. I would consider the fact that you will be applying against many other strong applicants who DO have SATII scores to report. More information can help prove proficiency in a subject area. Could you retake them?
