i was wondering.. since most test takers find the act easier than the sat, and easier to score higher... is say a 2320 on the sat looked on as more impressive than say a 35 on the act?

this question has been asked about 23400050403020304959493929224 too many times

lol--There's been plenty of debate over which test is "easier." I think it probably depends on how one's brain works. One of my daughters loved the ACT, the other preferred the SAT, and their scores reflected that. That said, a 2320 and a 35 are both spectacular.

Omg do you people have lives at all? There are so many people on this site worried about retaking 2300's and 34's. I'd kill for one of those scores.

you'd kill. but would you study?

I have been studying extremely hard for the ACT and probably won't even pull off a 28:(

Don't forget--21 is the national average!

"you'd kill. but would you study?"-1MX

Yes I would, and I did. I only managed a 1900 SAT and 30 ACT. If you get a 2300 you are brilliant, and no amount of studying will raise a 1900 to a 2300. For you to be complaing about those scores though is just pathetic.

One more time for the record:

One test isn't easier to get a high score on than the other.

Admissions committees won't be any more impressed by a high score on the SAT than they will by a high score on the ACT.

Admissions committees really, really don't care which test you take or which test scores you submit.

Just submit your best score from either test.

chocolatealtoids - I ONLY managed a 1900 SAT and 30 ACT

Some kids would kill for a 1900 SAT and 30 ACT...

This thread is going nowhere

Can't we all just agree that everyone hates their own scores and thinks everyone else is nuts for hating theirs?

Yeah. Discussion moot.
