Hey guys, I plan on taking the SAT's in October, but I'm not sure about the ACT's. I haven't done any prep for the ACT, and the test is on the 22nd. I think taking it on the 22nd right after the SAT's would be kind of tight and I'll probably do badly. Would taking the December ACT not make the Early Decision / Action deadline for schools? Thanks

December ACT will not make any ED or EA deadline I am aware of, all those have a last test accepted of either October or November depending on college.

What would you recommend for me to do? Take the SAT in October and ACT in October or take the SAT in November and ACT in October? This is so confusing argh.

If you haven't done any prep for the ACT, is there any reason to take it? Could you take tne SAT in October and register for the November one as well? If you're happy with your October score, then don't take the November; if you're not, then take the November test.

I was considering it because a lot of people have said that you score relatively higher on the ACT than the SAT. I scored pretty low on the SAT in March, but I've been practicing lately and I've been doing much better.

You could pay the late fee and take it Sept 24.. but if you're not going to prep, it may be a lost cause. It still wouldn't hurt to try though, if you just want to see how you'd do.
Good luck with everything.

Yea i agree with elladorkess
