SAT Advice for Transfer

Hello.

I just took the January 2009 SAT. As a junior-year transfer student, I am required to submit my SATs to some of the schools I am applying to.

This is my best score (superscored) so far.

CR - 680
M - 760
WR - 650

After taking the test, I think my scores were something like this.

CR - (About the same/maybe higher) 670-700
M - Lower. 720-740
WR - Higher, 700+

I am applying as a Business/Econ major to Cornell CAS, NYU Stern, Stanford, and Emory Goizueta. I was told it is very important to have high Math SAT scores for the business schools. However, I wanted to improve my writing/critical reading so I took it again. As you can see, my critical reading did not really improve, and my math went down. But writing, I'm pretty sure went up.

Should I cancel the scores?

Bump Bump Bump

wait wait wait

what year are you in now? when did you take your sat's originally?

Don't cancel.

I am a Sophomore applying for Junior year transfer. Prior to the January testing, I also took the test in November and December.

for junior xfers, sat's are usually of minimal importance...i really don't see any reason why you would cancel at this point...i do not know how these schools will view sat's taken a full three years after most applicants take the test...but it would be silly to cancel at this point
