SAT advice

I am trying to decide whether or not I should even take it a 4th time. My scores are as follows.
January:
M: 740
V: 650
March:
M:720
CR: 670
W: 700
May:
M: 800
CR: 700
W: 710

So basically my May test is my overall test score too, which I don't like. But, I do have an upward trend. I am absolutely sure that if I take it again I can get 750+ in writing. However, for CR, I still find myself stuck around 700, but I think I'll be a little improved by test time. So my question is, is it even worth it to take it again? I'm going for top schools like MIT, Caltech, etc.

I don't think that you should take the test again. It's very frowned upon to take the SAT more than 3 times. I understand you wanting to improve your writing score and whatnot, but you still have VERY good May scores. Also, if you're applying to MIT and Caltech, your math score plays the biggest role.

I don't think you should take it again. You got a perfect math score, which is really important for MIT and Caltech. You have a 2210, which is darn good. I wouldn't take it again; you should take some SAT IIS now.

I have 750 in chemistry, 690 literature (retaking), and 760 Math IIC (retaking) already in SAT II. So the writing score isn't worth it? What if I feel more confident about my CR later on, would that be worth retaking if I can bump that up like 50 points?

In my opinion, anytime that you are confident that you can raise your score on a section/sections without compromising any other section, then it's worth taking again.
