Does anyone know how Cornell superstores the ACT and SAT since they require all scores? I've seen so many different answers and all seem very vague. Some say flat out no, others yes, others saying that they look at highest score without recalculating, and then finally other answers make it appear that they superstore between ACT and SAT. I don't recall the wording exactly but it was an email from an admin officer that said something along the lines that they look at all testing then create the best possible scenario. Confusing

It is my understanding that they “super score” the SAT I, but not the ACT. This seems correct since when reporting average scores they are required to break down the SAT into parts, but not the ACT. If they like your application they are not looking for reasons to reject you, that is why they will use whichever score is higher because they have to be aware of the whole “rating game” and be cognoscente of their average scores.
