SAT and ACT test takers

For those who took both the SAT and the ACT, what were your scores on the SAT and the ACT? Which did you find easier?

I know I’m not following the direction exactly but, I got a 195 on the PSAT. I said **** that, quickly realizing the SAT might not be for me.

So I studied a lot for ACT, took it a couple times, and got a 35.

psat 195
act 35

Yeah, I find act easier. (is this posted in the SAT forum as well? You’re gonna get act lovers on the act forum.)

PSAT- 185
PSAT- 198
SAT- 1950
SAT- 2050

…

ACT- 35

yah.

SAT: 2030 first time, 2170 second and final time.
ACT: 35!

Considering I studied about a year and a half for the SAT, and about two weeks (during APs too) for the ACT, I think the ACT is definitely more friendly. I did some serious hardcore studying for the SAT, and couldn’t even break 2200. I think it really depends on you though - I find some people ace the SAT without doing diddly-squat.

In my experience, most people find the ACT easier. They were of about the same difficulty for me; I think that I could have done better on the ACT if I had prepared at all, which I did for the SAT.

^silverturtle, how could you have done better on ACT than you already did? unless im reading your post wrong…

Assuming he got a 36, he could have gotten some 35s. And if he got a 35, then there is room for some improvement lol

psat 1: 178
psat 2: 203
sat 1: 1990
sat 2: 2030

act 1: 33

PSAT: 228
SAT: 2240
ACT: 36

I definitely found the ACT easier. It’s also a lot easier to prepare for compared to the SAT.
