Because UChicago allows you to take the ACT in lieu of the SAT I, I was wondering what I should do. These are my scores:

SAT I: 2120
CR: 680
Math: 680
Writing: 760

SAT II
Bio M: 770
Math IIC: 700
Chem: 700

ACT: 33 (December..just got scores today)
English: 36
Reading: 33
Math: 33
Science: 30

My ACT score looks better overall..but I dunno..what do you guys think?
I know that even though UChicago doesn't require subject tests..is it better to show them that you have interest in a specific area..?

im still self reporting the SAT scores though..cuz other schools need them..but if I'm self reporting the SAT scores and the school doesn't require them, I don't need to send the official SAT report right?

I submitted the ACT only and was admitted EA. My SATII scores were really bad and my SAT scores weren't as good as my ACT, so I just decided to let them only see the ACT. But it's up to you.

Regarding the self-reporting, you only need to report one or the other, regardless of what you self-report. The scores you don't send officially may not be taken into consideration, though.
