I know I get 4 free score reports for the SAT, but I want to send 5 (at least for EA/ED). So how much will the extra report cost, or is it something like where you have to buy 4 at once? Will Collegeboard send my highest combined score (being the 2nd time I took it) or my 2nd SAT overall score only?

How do I send my AP scores? Or does my school do that?

And finally, how do I send my subject test scores?

The colleges will receive a cumulative score report of every SAT score you’ve gotten, including the subject tests. This is unless you use Score Choice (which I think is free). While score choice is prohibited by some colleges, the colleges really have no way of knowing whether you’ve used it or not, it just violates moral-honesty-ness.

You can send 4 free score reports (up until a certain time), and the 5th report will simply be charged (in other words, send as many reports as you want and they’ll just mark the first four free–it’ll tell you on the website, assuming you’re paying with a credit card online). I don’t know how much the extra reports cost–I think $9.50 each? Don’t ever pay for the ‘rush report’ unless it’s seriously like 1 day before the admission deadline, but otherwise it’s a waste of money.
(Also, are you sure you can apply to all 5 colleges EA/ED? That sounds like a lot, since ED is binding.)

Colleges will not get your AP scores unless you send them, unless your school lists them on the transcript (which I don’t think most schools do). However, you don’t have to send AP scores to colleges (you only get 1 free score report–which is cumulative–every year and it’s $15 afterwards…wow); you can just list them on your own (and then send a report–or use your free one in May of senior year during APs–to the college you end up attending so they can verify and give you credit). AP scores don’t really matter much in admissions unless they’re way different than your grades.

Subject test scores and SAT scores are sent in the same reports.

I’m applying to NYU Stern ED, Northeastern EA, Fordham EA, UConn EA, and Univ. of Chicago EA. The first and last schools are reaches (well, NYU might be a match if I apply ED) but Univ. of Chicago is definitely a reach. The middle 3 are my safeties/matches. As far as a I can tell, there is no conflict between these 5 schools. If there is, let me know lol.

Getting kinda anxious, still have to right my essay(s). Any idea how many I’m going to have to write for these 5? There all common app schools.
