say if u have 2200
790 / 800 / 700+ in chem/math 2c/ us history respectively and then
600+ in spanish and you're not a native speaker.
does that look bad?? if u just dont take spanish at all?

take spanish and see how you do. not taking spanish won’t hurt you, but won’t help you either. Just do it for the hell of it.

If you already have 3 great SAT II scores, why mess it up with a 600? I wouldn’t take it unless you think you can get above a 700. Most schools only require 2 SAT IIs anyway, and you have three good ones.

That’s fine. My U.S. history SAT score was fail because I slacked off but I still managed to get into my tops. Oh and 3 SAT IIs are good enough, you probably won’t need to submit the Spanish SAT II.

Listen to reach, he has a good point. Most colleges require 2 anyway, and the Ivy Leagues have lowered their requirement from 3 to 2. I’m not encouraging you to take 2 instead, but I’m emphasizing that you won’t need more than 3. Go with your 3 best and take those exams only.

well i got 740 on history and 680 on spanish lol… so i should retake or it looks bad?

Retake if you think you can do better for sure. In the end, one subject test’s score won’t make too much of a difference in your application (especially if it’s not a terrible score). I got a 680 on the World History test and ended up fine.
