I will be learning the content for AP Bio over the summer and I intend to take a biology subject test. I know there are two different ones - E and M. Which one should I take? Does the AP Bio coursework focus more on topics that will help in one? I’m need to get an 800, and input would be greatly appreciated!
AP Bio tends to focus more on M
@Darthjt thanks!
@swim1128 if you’re doing AP Bio just for the subject test, don’t bother. AP Bio is in no way a prerequisite for the test. I was initially afraid that not having done AP Bio would stack the odds against me, but I ended up with an 800 without it.
@therealthing oh wow, that’s good to know. I bought the Barron’s bio subject test book to study from, did you use a prep book that helped with the exam?
@swim1128 apologies for my prolonged response. Yes, Barron’s and PR is all you need; Don’t bother with Kaplan.
@therealthing thank you! Any book suggestions (other than Barron’s) for math 2?
