SAT Center Horror Stories

The back definitely says write in cursive do not print, and my procter said the same, but I doubt anyone really cares that much.

It's obvious that they don't care, but they say to write it in cursive so you can't sue them.

if u print, you can sue them?
i remember having to write in cursive on that agreement on the back, but i wasn't rlly sure what i it was that i was copying..im nervous that they won't read my essay or something becuz i printed even though they didnt specify to not print...

you can print your essay.
I think most people do.

It indicates pretty clearly to copy that agreement in cursive, but they aren't going to do anything if you don't. I write it in cursive but since I haven't actually written in cursive since about third grade, it takes me way too long and looks horrible.

Last time i took the SAT it was one of those days with the 7th graders who take it. Oh lord. So one girl is about to cry because she marked in the wrong section. Then she tries to talk the proctor into letting her call her mother with her cell phone, pay phone, whatever she could get. Then she, along with the other 5 girls, spent at least 10 minutes on that cursive section. So the proctor went to the front board and started to draw out the cursive letters. I was going crazy

^LOL. at least I wasn't that bad.
the advantage for me to write that thing in cursive is that since my writing is so bad (I haven't done it since third grade either), no one can prove I really wrote what they said....

the agreement part is meant to be written in cursive because if they flag your scores they will have a graphologist compare the agreements signed to see if they match up in handwriting. If you signed it in print, they wont release your scores.

During the test, somebody's cell phone rang. This one kid in my center was also one of the kids in my HSPA testing room. During the HSPA, he got kicked out for eating and asking people questions. When I saw he was in my SAT testing room, I was really mad. He asked the teacher if we could eat after we were done with a section, and she said yes. I said to her, "You should NOT have said that." Everyone in my class who had been in my HSPA class were also mad that he was in our room again. He wasn't that bad, but the cell phone was the worst. It rang every two minutes.

has anyone out there ever been kicked out of the test room?
