SAT chem in december?

hey kids-

i am currently a sr in ap chem..i took honors chem 2 years ago..do u guys think i could get a 750+ on the sat subject test in december? how should i prepare? is the test hard?

Hey, same exact situation here! :] Honors (well, "GT" here, but same thing) sophomore year, AP Chem this year, and taking it next month.

I'm using Barron's and Princeton Review to prepare. My boyfriend was in the same situation and did the same thing (although he spent a few months on it, lol) and ended up getting an 800 last month, soooo Barron's and PR seem to be sufficient! (Barron's, I believe, is way overkill, and PR alone isn't quite enough.)

Also, here's a great thread with advice on preparing for Chem: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/512788-some-advice-those-taking-chem-physics-june.html

wow poseur covers my thoughts exactly. im taking it, using barrons and pr. barrons is crazy, and so im happy that i have a ton of no school in the next 4 weeks to go through it.

I'll lol if you don't get 780+, based on your post in mah thread. ;]

expecting an 800, really isnt that hard.

ARARARAARARAR WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT ONE k

lol.. so like what is mostly on it?

stoich stuff? (plz?? im good at that.. ;]) hopefully not a lot of bonding and shapes? that stuff is confusinggg plus barrons has so much random crap on that which prob isnt important haha

I just used Sparknotes, got a 780. It isn't too difficult.

You meant SparkleNote textbook or online?

^ No, I'm pretty sure he meant spark notes o_o
