Also @Arctk I put advise b/c the question was “The fourth paragraph is the authors attempt to…”, and he wasn’t attempting to control his emotions. He was attempting to advise others about what to do.

For the dream one, it was that it was unambiguously positive. Think of it this way - if you were asked to persuade people to do something, if it had only positive things attached, it would be a piece of cake to argue. That’s why it was a speechwriter’s dream, there were ostensibly no disadvantages.

@Monepo but I remember that in that line it spoke of rural jobs increasing and that “we” wouldn’t have to worry about overseas oil something again. Doesn’t that sound economical to you?

Also you guys, great news! I found a piece of Passage 2 about the biofuels!

“Initially, political and business circles touted the potential benefits of biofuels; it was a speechwriter’s dream. Here was an energy source that promised jobs, rural revitalization, and greater independence from foreign oil producers”

Idk, I thought one of the writing section was experimental because I think I had writing, math, reading, writing, can’t remember these two sections(I would assume these two sections to be CR and Math Respecetively),math(grids),reading then writing again

I might have had the same order as you do Clad cant remember exactly. But I know it couldn’t have been the last math section since that was only 20 minutes and the one that is suppose to be experimental is one with 25 minutes. And there are suppose to be only 3 sections of each so that would make reading the experimental xD

I hope the Deep Blue was experimental that section was hard ><

btw I forget was Deep Blue writing or CR? xD

for sentnece completion, did you guys choose “arose … locks” for the one about cells and viruses and “nurture” for the curiosity of science?

also, for the war passage, the purpose of the 4th paragraph or something, wasnt it to show the shift of the problems of the author and then about the war?

also, is the “giddy” 100% exuberant or is there still a debate on whether its exuberant or skittish?

finally, for the one about the sculpture made up of steel, wood, etc, can’t it be machination? the definition of machination is an artistic design producing mysterious results or something like that which fits perfectly… i chose juxtaposition but idk…

I got arose and locks, and nurture for that question about that girl whose curiosity was
“nutured” by her science teachers

the one with arose and locks spoke about I think viruses and first organisms and how like something they arose to push open the “locks” of something xD

@jkIvy, you are going have to give us more details on your question, we can’t remember off the top of our heads what the answer was or could have been if you don’t at least give some clue as to what the question said.

@anon you probably didn’t know what his question was since his questions was two pages back xD
