SAT cutoff?

<p>you won't be rejected simply because you are below 1500, and they would definitely consider 1480 a "very good" score. i think that's above the school average...</p>

<p>and bsbllallstr8, actually i think 1300 is rather low to be aiming for duke if you aren't an amazing basketball player or a urm.</p>

<p>You are all quoting the old SAT scores, do you think they will take into account the Writing section? If so, how will it impact the numbers you are quoting?</p>

<p>im guessing the writing will count as much as an sat 2. the math and reading should still be the most important.</p>

<p>My entire application is based on information sent in from rec's and counselors saying that my test scores are ridiculously low and shouldn't be looked at. Maybe it will help, but in all liklihood I'm screwed.</p>
