i have a question about the SAT, people told me that if you get 1890 is like the same as getting an 1800 is that true? cause my SAT score is 1780 and i was wondering would the college be looking at is as an 1700 ish sat score or would they look at it as its close to 1800?

Completely false. An 1890 is an 1890; an 1800 is an 1800. Don’t worry about it. Good luck!

Nope, like Polyosophy said, the score is what it is. I think the difference is between ‘regular’ people and admissions officers. It’s just natural that people consider a 1990 and a 2010 to be significantly different scores, yet an admissions committee will know better than that and realize that it’s only a difference of 20 points.
