Hi CC!

This is a revision of my previous thread Chinese vs US history. I need/want to take one more SAT Subject Test in addition to Math II and Chemistry. I have 3 options but I don't know which one to start studying for ( and I want to start studying fast!). So these are my three choices:

Chinese: I AM Chinese, but I am NOT a native speaker. I was born here in New York. I speak Chinese with my parents but I can neither read nor write well. I can get most of the listening and the sentence completion (thanks to pinyin) questions right but I miss the majority of the reading questions and I doubt one could learn how to read mandarin Chinese in 2-3 months. I scored a 720 on the SAT Subject Test BB sample test.

** US History **: I did NOT take AP US history in high school. However I always got As in my history classes. I heard, however, that this test is random. I intend to score an 800 but I'm afraid I won't have enough time to sufficiently prepare for this exam. Furthermore, the randomness of some the questions deters me from taking this test.

** Physics **: Well I had a pretty bad Physics teacher so I know almost NOTHING about Physics. Seriously, he was really bad. I was too preoccupied with my SATs to self study. My dad, however, has a doctorate from Columbia in Chemistry and Physics. He tutored me in Chemistry and I did okay (750) without taking any "advanced" Chemistry course ( and half a year after my sophmore year chem course so my chem was a bit rusty). Would some self-study/serious tutoring help me get an 800 in this subject which I currently have NO knowledge in. In addition I already have a science subject down would this look bad on my college app (no diversity)? Math+Science+science+asian?

** Last remark: ** I want to take 3 subject tests. I scored a 750 in Chem and I am aiming for an 800 in Math 2. I am also using a lot of my free time preparing for SAT so I will have only 3-6 hours for SAT subject tests a day. Which ones should I take? I intend on applying to a lot of Ivies and I will be majoring in Finance/Business

Thanks for the advice CC!
