<p>I had a question:</p>

<p>On the SAT, what are the best examples you can use on the essay. I usually stick to scientific, historical, or personal ones.....</p>

<p>But.....I know a lot of people use literary examples.....and other such examples as well.</p>

<p>For those of you that got a high grade on the essay, about an 11-12, what examples did you use???</p>

<p>The whole purpose of this post is just to see all the possible ways you can get a 12.....</p>

<p>Please post your essay grade along with your answer...</p>

<p>12--Used literary work the Bridge of San Luis Rey. Wrote about two different characters for two body paragraphs. Then last paragraph I used a personal example. The prompt was something along the lines of is it better to fit in or stand out.</p>

<p>11- Used three US President the prompt was something about following your own advice versus others. </p>

<p>Both essays reached the end of the second page. So length is also a factor.</p>
