ok so i don't know if i made a big mistake or if i made the best decision of my life.. the may SAT essay topic in a nutshell was, "can wisdom be measured in happiness." of course being the ridiculous girl that i was, i wrote a story... it answered the question, was descriptive and imaginative, but not an essay.
the story was of a young child admiring her neighbor for his wisdom and guidance, to this her neighbor's reaction was to go off and explain how wisdom is measured in more than intelligence, but also in happiness and the quality of your life. it was a good story, but i am not sure if it was the smartest idea.. let alone one that will get me maximum points. The story had dialect, good vocabulary, and i double checked on grammar.. it will most probably cause some trouble between graders but no doubt it will be memorable.

What you did is actually harder than a boiler plate essay so from that standpoint, you’ve proven your writing skills. But the essay is boiler plate for a good reason. It’s what the graders are comfortable looking for. I think the dialogue might prove problematic since the conversation should’ve probably been converted to the explanation of internal thought and reason. But, hopefully it will all work out. GL
