SAT fresh meat !!

Hello everyone !!
So I wanted your advice for the SAT
I wanna focus on both the writing and critical reading sections
So for the critical reading what do you think is the best book for it? some people told me about the Rocket Review Revolution, should I take it ??
And for the writing section, I'm looking for something that will teach me all of the grammar that is needed for the SAT test ??
Thank you

Reading more literature will help you most with the CR sections, which depend somewhat on your speed of reading. Don’t waste your time and money on a review book devoted to just to CR; pick up CB’s SAT Official study guide or (what I used) Barron’s SAT and Barron’s SAT 2400 for general testing strategies as well as for practice tests. Studying vocab also is really important, especially as their are a lot of questions on the CR section, such as the sentence completion questions, that hinge on your vocabulary.

The writing sections are not actually that hard. The Barron’s SAT 2400 book should help with some good strategies for each of the SAT sections, but it assumes you already know the basics. If you do, great. If you do not, for whatever reason, their comprehensive SAT review book should help with that. It also has very in depth - some people say too in depth, but I can’t see how over preparing can hurt - review for how the test tests CR and math skills along with the writing skills too.
