SAT I: How many times did you take it?

twice -
1340 - oct. jr year
1480 - mar. jr year

twice-

1400- 720v 680m jan jr. year
1390- 720v 670m may jr. year

oh and get this the first time i took it i was all prepared, slept a ton, ate a healthy breakfast, had practice tests. second time i took it was right after prom, i was exhausted, hardly slept, didn't prepare, just showed up. BUT i missed the same exact pattern of answers in both tests. like the same number on the same difficulty level in each of the sections. except on the second one, in math i skipped one problem. at least i was consistent.

once
1550-780m,770v

3 times

650 M 670 V (11th)
680 M 680 V (12th)
710 M 800 V (12th)

(I was pretty surprised by the jump since I didn't study at all between tests)

nice job guys. I took it once: 1350: 660V, 690M <-- my last 7 answers were shifted down one space. Score report showed that i got them all right except the one I omitted. GRRR!!! I didnt have enough time to retake another. I took it Oct, and the SAT IIs Nov and Dec. I hope they were just a tad bit easier on those who took it only once hoping for benefit-of-the-doubt

Twice
1. 800V, 680M= 1480
2. 800V, 710M= 1510

llamapyjamas: my mom though 1580 was the magic number as well.

Twice
1. 790V, 740M= 1530
2. 800V, 800M= 1600

Once:

790v, 740m

Unlike hao, I was happy with my score, plus I'm lazier.

happier because you knew you'd gotten lucky?

twice
1. 1470, V-720, M-750
2. 1470, V-760, M-710, didn't bring a calculator
Highest split: 1510

Once:
1530 730V 800M.

I was quite happy with it, but seriously considered retaking it when someone I knew got 1540 and started bragging about it. Then I realised I was too lazy to care.

it's always the people who beat you by 10 pts that are the most annoying. :)

my mom wanted me to retake mine...i scored the lowest SAT score out of all of my extended family......1 sibling and 14 cousins haha sad :(, but apparently it didnt matter =P

An Asian friend of mine retook his 1570 (770 math) for a 1600. He said something along the lines of, no way am I gonna let myself get less than perfect on some white man's math test.

lololololololololol!!!!!!!!!!!

three times... 1220 (early jr year) , 1330, (mid jr year) 1500 (early senior year)... the 1500 was a very plesant surprise.

1360 1st try last nov
