SAT I vs. SAT II Question

I'm trying to help my sister decide on what to do for this upcoming Saturday.

Should she retake the SAT I or SAT II.

SAT I was 1420/2220.

SAT II was 750 English, 720 Math I and 590 Spanish.

The SAT II's this time would be Spanish and World.

Do you think she should re-take the SAT I or SAT II's?

Sat 1. She needs it to be up more than the 2s and most schools will only consider the 2 highest 2s so she can take those later.

thank you.

Right now your best subject tests are:

750 Lit
720 Math 1

Lit is fine, but 720 on Math 1 isn’t very good. I would retake SATIIs if I were you.

thank you. any other advice?

If she can get a better score on the SAT 1, then she should take that one… But if she’s most likely going to get a similar score, then she should consider taking the subject test instead…

Idk, just kind of an obvious answer haha…

Take whichever one she’s more confident with…

SAT II’s for sure. A 2220 isn’t bad in any way, and there’s still plenty of time to retake before even early admissions apps are due. However, the 590 spanish needs to be mitigated by at least several more solid 700’s or even (ideally) at least 750+ subject tests.

thank you :)
