I ran out of time for my SAT II biology test because I couldn't decided if I should take E or M, and I had begun taking E when I switched to M at last minute and couldn't answer the last 10 questions: I ended up getting a score of 670.

I'm going to retake this coming November.

How many exactly can you not answer and still get a 700?

next time, decide BEFOREHAND whether to take either E or M.

Totaly Agreed, that was IMO one of the worst mistakes anybody could make (Not knowing What to take and then SWITCHING) The switching part probably killed u, especially since time on the SAT II bio is VERY tight, even wasting a minute coud hurt your score.
btw just study both , and next time you go into a test and pick something just stay with it even if u think ur gonna screw uip, because u wont have time.

o and just use Barrons SAT II biology and study it like CRAZY and u ll probabably get a 750+ (provided u dont make a silly mistake like that again)

xylem out of curiosity how intensily did u study barron's...did u read it multiple times? or did u just read it once very thoroughly

naw just once, in fact i didnt even finish the whole book ( i skipped like a chapter or 2 and just skimmed them night before the test), i didnt really have that much time to prep beacause i had to catch up with school work after AP and such..but uhh i just do the practice quizzes after each section and if i horribly fail someting or dont understand it, i go back and read it again (thought thats rarly the case).. and i did like 10 practice test :)

Whoever wants todo this then just do the same with the quizzes and stuff, and if u fail something then GO BACK and READ IT...u still have alot of time people....

I'm reading the PR Biology first, then I'm gonna spend about a month on the Barron's Biology. PR has 2 tests, and Barron's has 4 tests. May I ask from what source you got your 10 tests from? Possibly sparknotes too? I know they have a Biology book with 5 tests in it.

4 From Barrons +1 from barrons (theres like a diagonstic test thats 60 question at the beggining) + 3 from sparknotes.com (Just make an account and they let u take a free test, u can make multiple accounts to take multiple tests or just buy them for like 10 $) + like 2 or 3 from an OLD edition of barrons ( i mean 1994 kind of old) that i borrowed the tests were actually much harder then the recent barrons ones but it was good practice :)
PM if u need anything
