Does anyone know what the curve is going to be like? I’ve hear mixed reports. CB says -3 raw. Others I’ve heard say -6 raw (even Princeton review).

Also, for the balancing question. Wasn’t it:

C6H12 + 9O2 → 6CO2 + 6H20? Wasn’t the answer 9? I might’ve misread it or made a careless mistake… Not sure.

Also, does anyone remember getting an answer with pH = 2? I think I might’ve misread it and actually should’ve been pH = 12?

Collegeboard’s is the correct one. It’s a little strict, but the best you can really hope for is -4 at the most.

However, if you see in the CB, it says that Biology is -3 raw, but in reality, the curve is usually -5 or better…

@ColdFlame

Are you sure about bio haha? I thought it was actually like -2 for an 800.

Well I was casually talking/skimming, not sure. But regardless, hopefully this is a 79/85 curve or a 80/85. Will give me hope. Anyways, about this:

Also, for the balancing question. Wasn’t it:

C6H12 + 9O2 → 6CO2 + 6H20? Wasn’t the answer 9? I might’ve misread it or made a careless mistake… Not sure.

Also, does anyone remember getting an answer with pH = 2? I think I might’ve misread it and actually should’ve been pH = 12?

I seem to remember getting 9 for the first one. For the second, it was pH = 12.

For the first one, someone said it was C6H12O6, but I don’t remember the O6… I put 9 I’m pretty sure.

Also, any more confirmation of 3 TTCE? 1 TTCE near the start, 2 TTCE consecutively near the end?

@Coldflame: that O6 was definitely present. Correct answer was 6 O2 - after balancing, the product need 9O2, but due to the presence of O6 in the hydrocarbon, you only need 6O2.

-3 for sure then… Hopefully still in it for 800. About the TTCE? 3 anyone? 1 start, 2 consecutively at the end?

I live I’m NJ ! Hahahahaha my English teacher is like "this is an honors class. You should be able to balance four AP exams as well as a research paper, book analysis, and poems for poetry month. ■■■ D:

@ColdFlame I got 3 CE too, but the general consensus on here is that there were 2… Lol.

I omitted 11, I think. I forgot to count at the end, but I think it was 11… Like many of you, I left the stoichiometry ones for last, and didn’t have time to go back. =/

I’ll probably be retaking the test in June in hopes of a 750+ (Unless some miracle happens and the curve is amazing that I get a high score :P)

AP CHEM EXAM MONDAY! D:

Idk ColdFlame, I’m sticking by my 2 TTCE haha. Do you remember which ones you put as TTCE (beside the location)?

I remember the Boiling Point and the Gas Law. Don’t remember the 3rd one.

I am more than 314.1592654% sure that it was C6H12O6 therefore making the answer 6.

What was the one about sodium? I only had two (the first two you named)

Sodium doesn’t easily gain electrons in reactions. That would give it a negative charge. That one was T, F.

Anyone remember the answer to the question about how much H2 gas Ca and K produce relative to each other?

So apparently I thought strong acid has a pH higher than 8…tiredness got me, there goes my 800 haha.
