Hi,

THis is my first time taking a subject test and I bought the barron's book to review for chemistry and found it insanely hard. Is it really this hard? Are the questions more math based or concept?

yeah... have you taken ap chemistry or just basic? I have the Barron's book too. I think it will be a little bit harder than the actual test but you should be able to get a ballpark score from it.

The Barron's book, is ridiculous, but if you can get 740+ on those tests, then you are guraranteed a 800. I got an 800 by consistently getting around 780 on the Barron's and the PR book (they have different scales)

ive got barrons too and it does seem a bit overboard

ye barrons is overboard but it prepares u well for the real thing just stick it even if u dont do too well..
also consider takin PR which is bout the same level as the real thing..
