SAT II for US History Worth Sending In?

I'm verrry strongly considering SCEA to Yale and I was just wondering whether my 750 on US History Subject Test is worth sending in addition to my 790 Chemistry and 800 Math II? Would it look bad in context of other applicants or would it make me look more dynamic as a student? I was looking through some of the SCEA Yale Results threads and I was just wondering :D

Thanks a lot for the help!

Save your money. Yale only needs two. Why dilute your great performance in Chem and Math? You’re overthinking this.

@T26E4, it is early and my sarcasm detector is not working yet, but I believe if OP sends in any SAT scores, it has to be all of them:

OHH ok well then that’s simple haha. Thanks for the help!

OP, to be clear, that policy is in effect for Yale and some other schools, but not all – and, as all policies, they are subject to change, so Google before you submit. Additionally, there is no shame in a 750 in US History, especially if you’re a STEMish kid, as your other scores suggest.

Good luck.

I hope you don’t mind, but I have two quick questions about what you just posted:

1) Do you know what Yale does with all of the scores that wouldn’t usually have been submitted? So, for example, if someone got 680 for US History, then wrote again and got 780, what does Yale do with the 680? Is it ‘looked at’?
2) How can they tell if you don’t submit a score?

Sorry if this is a hijack- it seemed on-topic. If it’s not, just ignore me

To my understanding, Yale will look at the better score. In effect, they superstore for you.

I don’t know if they have a way of knowing whether or not you live up to your agreement regarding scores. I do think, however, that disrespecting an agreement of that sort would be a sign that Yale is not a fit.

When my DS called about sending scores, he was told that if it was going to be a financial burden, it was okay to send all the scores of just one testing agency. His only score on the ACT w/ writing was better than his only SAT and SAT Subjects, so he sent in his ACT. It was good enough to get him in!

Thank you for the answers!
I would send all the scores as requested, I was just interested in finding out whether Yale has a mechanism for holding all applicants accountable to the rule. I think it’s unlikely that any year goes by without a few people lying on the score report and still being accepted.
