How do the Princeton Review (Cracking the French Subject Test) and Barron's prep books compare to the real test? I hear both are easier? (which surprises me since it's usually not the case with Barron's).

Does anybody else think that there are errors in the Barron's book?

I'd like to know this as well. I have the PR book, and I just took the first practice test yesterday... I thought the vocabulary and grammar and everything were extremely easy, but the reading passages were quite hard.

does anyone know where to find a score chart for the french test? I want to know where i am in the 200-800 scale.

If you post what raw score you're getting, I can look up the scaled score on my PR chart.

I found the first PR test to be extremely easy but the second one to be a bit harder... still it's hard to study for in general, just try to learn a lot of vocab since the grammar is fairly easy

I was reading the Barron book yesterday and found what I thought were errors... but then I doubted myself because it's supposed to be a legit study guide... I wish I could get my hands on PR

Haha I would totally sell it to you cheaply if you lived near San Jose, CA :D
