SAT II LITERATURE is rather silly

Hi. I'm a senior. I know I shouldn't be taking SAT II's, but I took one for placement (at Yale you need a 710).

SAT II Literature

January--660
June--770

am i that different???

well, all i know is j00 beat me in Lit. 670.

man i got a 690 in lit... this sucks...i guess i should retake, huh?

i completely agree. its an absolute joke. i decided to take the test 2 days before the actual testing day and pulled a 750. wth. do colleges like to see SAT II lit?

I think the entire idea of it is stupid. How can you possibly test literary analysis in multiple choice? I got a 730... I know I can do better, but I don't have time before the ED round. Oh well.

by all means retake...the test seems fairly random!

no, you are not that different. Sometimes, the passages are just so g-awful, that even Shakespeare couldn't understand them. A friend of ours last year, received a score putting her in the 18th percentile (yeah, you read that correctly) on the Oct test, but bumped up to 50% in the Nov test - literally three weeks later.
