7538 or so i am not sure

A couple questions:

For the circle that touched the x and y axis, the center was at (2, -2)?

The distance between two points that had lots of radicals was like 8.something?

The graph that wasn’t a function of x was the y=whatever horizontal line?

I forget what the last question was but i remember i answered it but meant to come back to it because I thought it was kind of hard. You guys have asked all the other harder questions.

I omitted 4:
-The probability one with the different colored cars (cause i suck at probability lol)
-The one with the triangle inscribed in a circle with a tangent line or whatever (couldn’t understand it)
-The one with the percentages of birds migrating (i skipped it originally meaning to come back because i thought it would take me longer than usual, ended up with not enough time)
-I forget what the other one was

I also got the taxi one wrong (i thought it was the int() function) and the exponential function one wrong (i answered 18 instead of 8)

Why are you guys cancelling 790s? Honest question, because I wouldn’t think that colleges favor 800s that much more highly over 790s – I would think they’d realize that getting a 790 meant your range would be around 770-800.

the one with order of cars was 6! right?

@infamous…those are all wrong except for the distance, which was 8.49. just checked.

Yea
R,1,2,3,4,5,6,G = 6!

im at 5 omits and 2 or 3 misses right now -___- swoony

iris: wow thats good. i have a 2360 sat but i took it 3 times. improved every time but first score was pretty bad lol. 3.95 gpa.
state and national awards in sports and other stuff.
around 250 volunteering hours.
idk yet…im applying to 2nd tiers and ivies but prob one of hyps for early action/decision

you?

It looks like I haven’t missed one yet. Sweet.

I got 6! for the cars.

I skipped the X and Y migration, the last problem, and something else. I’m trying to remember it… Anyway, I think I got the 800.

I dont remember any problem with a circle in it… and the graph that wasnt a funtion was D i think not sure

@king, correct, the one that did not pass the vertical line test.
@hopefully and iris, haha i’m also applying to ivys. i’m kinda worried though…i go to a very very competitive school and i have a 4.0 gpa. i also do two sports very heavily and volunteer…but i don’t have any leadership roles. i also got a 2210 on my sat, but retaking it in june because i’m aiming for a 2300+. NMSQT letter recipient. Chances? :(

the very first question as 1/x^m… lol

one question required adding up powers and the answer was 9.

and one i think had ln(2) somewhere in it

@Hopeful, your scores are amaaaazing.

I’m might apply to MIT and one or two from the HYP with early action.
But 2360 SAT? Wow. I don’t do well with SAT.
Living in a rural town with mediocre teachers, I have to study everything on my own :(.

@Swoony,
Personally, I think you have a solid chance of getting into the ivies.
I’d say keep up the good work and show who you really are on the essay.

Yeah, ln(2) + ln(x) = 2.something.

YES i got #1 WOOT!

btw what the was the answer to the hyperbola one…

since when was that a question?!?! the ln(2) thing??

Ivy league wannabe here as well!!! :P

for the hyperbola one i just used the cordinates of the y and x or something like that, which were given in the line equations…

It gave a value of ln(x) and asked for ln(2x). Pretty simple.

So it’s definitely 0.7, right guys? I was a little confused by that one.

I am still confused by that one…
