I put A only

^tigerman do u remember the options…

I think one was liek it has three factors…

the other was the factors are not even.

I put only A (three factors)

^ i think one option was that one is negative or something, but prime numbers are not negative

all have to be same (third option was they are three distinct primes, which is wrong)

Exactly, so it was only one option right?
That’s what I put, they are the same.

Wait, you guys put 3.7? It wasn’t f(x) = x-1; it was f(x) = f(x-1). I think I put 0.7 because you keep subtracting 1 until it is in the range of f(x) = x. I might be totally off though.

For the sin shift one, I put C only. I’m fairly confident in that.

For the prime factorization one, it’s definitely only 2.

I skipped three. Hopefully I’ll get the 800.

^yah i agree with tigerman… it cant be three distinct prime… I think it was two only… Answer choice C or something…

i put 2 and 3 because 1 was wrong, and 2 was right, 3rd said 3 primes

@studious agree with the sin shift :)

but wasnt the f(x-1) still 4.7? f(x-1) is a horizontal shift of f(x), so that doesnt affect the range…

What was answer choice II to the p^3 one??

Ok before discussing anymore can we reach a consensus with regards to the f(4.7) one?

i put 3.7. how were you supposed to know if you were supposed to keep going?

f(x) = x for 0<x<1 f(x)=“f(x-1)” for="" x="">1</x<1>

lets start with 4.7.
f(4.7) = 4(3.7)
but 3.7 is greater than 1, so it follows the second rule: f(3.7) must be = f(2.7)
these follow the same rules until f(.7), which is just .7

Ugh. I misunderstood the phrase.
I thought p^3 counts as a single factor being used 3 times.
So I was like: three distinct positives? No… One is used three times…

So ugh.

I skipped 5 and maybe missed one or two, what is that?
780~790?

I put 3.7 as well… I have no idea…

I put 0.7 because it asked for the value of f(x)… If 3.7 is right then 2.7 and 1.7 would be right as well

the p^3 question. choice 3 was still right…
it said 3 factors, and if the number was 8, the factors could be 2x2x2.

because if 3.7 = x, it is STILL greater than 1.

what about the intersection of the line and the ellipse

it never said to keep on going until the f(x)=x equation though…
