CAS requires two subject tests in different areas...which is fine since I took the Literature and the US History one. But I was checking my Cornell application status online and it shows that Literature and History are actually related areas. Is this true? It's too late for me to sign up for the Nov SAT IIs, so as an ED applicant, am I doomed????

go to the nov sat iis at your local testing center with, i think, $65 and register as STAND BY, i think that's what it's called. you can still take one. its probably best to take a math or science. bio is pretty easy, as is math ic.

what's with the two different areas...

im taking chem and math1, and math2 last second. bad thing?

two different areas?

i heard chem is really hard. dunno from experience.
I dont think you should take both maths on the same day. choose one and lose one. 1 is easy, 2 has a nice curve.

oooh do you mean 2 diff math areas? mathic is simple, and math iic covers more complex ideas and whatnot.

1 is easier..but it is harder to get 800

chem is rather hard..unless you seriously have all your concepts down, (stoichiometry, laws, lab situations, etc)

math 2c is harder than 1c..but easier to get 800 (can miss like 8 or 7)

i think 3 tests is really a lot for 1 day..especially 2 math tests

There's no point in taking IC if you're taking IIC.

3 tests on the same day isn't so bad.

i find it hard enough to do well on 1 test on 1 morning ;) dunno how i'd do if i took 3 subject tests in 1 morning.
