SAT II Question

In October I took 3 SAT IIs

Math IIC: 780
US History: 790
Literature: 650 (yea I know…)

But, Penn only requires two. However, the college board just will send the scores on test days, so Penn has to get all three scores. Will they not look at the Lit score, or how will this affect me. I’m apply ED to Wharton if this helps. Thanks!

They wont look at the lit score. It is not awful, pretty average, so it wont kill your chances in either case. SATIIs dont mean that much in admissions (not like SAT). Dont worry, unless you are applying as an english major.

i don't really think a lit score for wharton will affect you that much, so don't worry.
i, on the other hand, am applying as a biology major but got a 620 on my bio SAT II.... (but have two other really good SAT subject tests).

smith8789, first of all, I agree with the above two posters. 650 Lit isn't super terrible, and you are applying to wharton. I'm thinking you probably have a SUPER strong math background and public administration interests as well. The SATII score isn't going to be what keeps you out at any rate.

And I love that you've been a member since August 2006. AUGUST. HAH

do you guys think that low SAT II scores will keep you out if everything else is good?

No because they only look at the 2 highest. The Lit won't matter.
I wish I had your SAT IIs though. I got 660 Lit (it's hard!) but my 2 others are 690 & 740... Probably average-below average for CAS, but my school doesn't offer AP or Honors classes so it's tough.
