Why are my test scores always so different?!?!?!?!

I did better on the math2 (640) than on the reasoning math(530)!
I thought i was gonna have to take the math2 again. but im happy with that score.
But how does this happen? Isn't the math2 harder than the reasoning?
I didnt study, just pure knowledge (things you just know). So does this mean if i take the reasoning again, will my math score increase?

Nah not really, the SAT Math is more logic based than the SAT II which is more of what you learn in school. If you want to improve your reasoning math score, just study strategies on how to tackle the problems. They’re only a few people who can go in without any studying on the SAT I and get a 800 on math.

A lot of people can go into the SAT I and get 800 on the Math without studying.

Probably right ThisCouldBeHeavn, just from my experience I have never seen anyone go in blind in the SAT and get a 800 on math.

Eh, nobody in my family studied for it, and my 780 was the worst of 3 brothers.

Very nice. Lucky you got into such a great school too! I wish I had a chance at UCLA lol

My scores in math, SAT I and SAT II are similarly awful. 690 SAT II on Math II and 700 Sat I. But maybe that’s just because I suck.
