Hey guys, so I took Lit and january after preparing steadily with kaplan and barrons for about a month or so. I'm also in AP Comp, and am good at it, so it seemed like a good test to take and get over with. On every practice test, I got at least a 740, some getting all the way up to 790. I found the actual test harder than the practice ones, and I was pressed for time, but I finished and was confident with most of my answers.

My score: 630.

Considering I'm looking at Brown, Duke, and others of the sort, this is unacceptable. Part of me thinks that maybe it is possible that I got so many wrong, but another part is convinced that something was scored incorrectly. I mean, I know of like 4-6 that I got wrong for sure, but other from that I didn't have trouble with that many questions.

My question: Do I pay the $50 for score verification? Has it ever worked for anybody? Money isn't that much of an issue, but I still don't want to waste it if this really never yields any results.

Thanks!
