SAT II scores at top 25 schools...how important...help please

Im at that point of Junior year where I have to start compiling a list of colleges for my gc and to plan out the rest of the tests which I plan on taking this year. Here's my problem...I have no idea whether my satII scores are good enough for the colleges on my list. First here are my scores:

Chem-710
Bio-720
Math IC-740

I know that these scores aren't terrible but assuming the rest of my stats are solid (3.8 gpa 2250 sat's solid ec's) are they good enough for schools like:
Upenn
Georgetown
Northwestern
Emory
UVA
Duke
Wash U in Stl

In general what kind of satII scores are these top schools looking for?

As of now I plan on at least taking the US satII and the ACT's but should I retake one of those or something like math 2c or physics in may? Should I retake any of those? Any advice you guys would have would help...Also if you think im worrying about nothing or being a little too obsessive over the process feel free to let me know...

I'm not an expert, but I think you should aim for anything above a 750. If you think you can do better, retake (and do Math 2). Otherwise, take SAT IIs in other subjects that you know you'll do better in.

i think your sat2s are fine. i think high 6 and up really is OK because schools don't really report these statistics, so they don't care too much. I think as long as you're in the ballpark, sat2s are just given a quick look. then again, i have absolutely no proof to back up this claim

SAT2s: Really really important
Don't you underestimate the weight of subject tests: most of the time they stand for a higher meaning than the marks you receive at school.
If you get like straight As at school, but have done poorly (or on, below average) on you SAT2s, then colleges will most likely question the credibility of your school marks/transcript.

Would you consider those scores adequate or would they reflect positivly on the A's ive gotten in those classes?

Not all schools require SAT 2's... for example Emory.

arg. i'm really bummed... mine were really low (750 lit, 640 math II. lit's fine, but math...) NOBODY in my school takes them, but apparantly these are something you want to study for :(

I know what your talkin about man...Its worse in my school where the averages for these tests are over 100 points over the national average...the school average for math 1 was 670 and chem was 690...its so hard to stand out coming from a school where my scores are considered slightly above average
