SAT II Scores Automatically Sent to Columbia...

And I got a 560 on French w/o listening...

However, I got a fairly good 760 on both Math II and Literature, as well as a 36 on the ACT.

Will Columbia still consider the horrible French score? I didn't think I would have to send it in, so I took it for the fun of it to see how I would score. (I know, a stupid idea in hindsight.) but Columbia has a no-score-choice policy.

Do I still have a chance at getting admitted?

Columbia only requires 2 subject tests, so they’ll just use your 2 highest scores to evaluate you.

In the end, I don’t think one single score is going to be that much of a problem, assuming that your ECs, transcript, recommendations, etc. are all fine.

However, you might consider re-taking. Columbia will accept January scores. (http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/node/754/lightbox2</a>)

Then again, fledgling is probably right–Columbia may not even consider your French score at all.

^agreed. Subject tests are never usually more important than SAT/ACT, GPA, ranking, etc.

OK thank you so much! I was thinking about retaking it… However, it’s nice knowing it’s not a fatal score.
